Blackmagic Design has permanently dropped the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K price tag by $500 to $1,995, the company has announced.
Blackmagic says the new Pocket Cinema Camera 6K price reduction will take effect immediately.
The price drop is designed to make the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K more affordable for users working on digital film, as well as live production with Blackmagic’s new ATEM Mini switchers.
Citing ‘the current demand for multi camera live streaming from home broadcast studios,’ Blackmagic also suggests the price drop is aimed at helping filmmakers currently stuck at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
