Benro has just announced the Hydra 2 waterproof tripod designed for travel photographers that need a rugged and robust support solution.
Packing down to an impressive 42.4cm and reaching a maximum height of 153cm with the centre column extended, the Hydra 2 promises a solid and sturdy base for your camera.
Utilising the latest carbon fibre weave ensures excellent strength to weight when combined with the 5-section leg design capable of supporting up to 17kg.
Each leg section is secured using oversized metal twist locks. These are weather and dust resistant and designed to be easily handled in any weather condition, even when wearing gloves.
To ensure maximum flexibility over the position of the tripod, each leg offers three angle selections.
Knowing the riggers and wear that travel tripods go through, Benro has included an interchangeable foot design with the option for either rubber or spikes as standard.
