Apple has published a pair of video tutorials showing how to use the iPhone 8 Plus’s new Portrait Lighting feature, which explain how to set it up.
Both the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X offer the Portrait Lighting mode, which simulates a range of different lighting effects to let users create a diverse range of images.
The iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X allow users to access Portrait Lighting both at the shooting stage and in post-processing. The effects work by the iPhone’s dual cameras and machine learning producing a range of lighting and blur effects to a scene.
