3 Legged Thing has announced the QR11-FBC & QR11-FBG, larger Universal L-Brackets designed for full-size and gripped cameras.
Originally launched in July 2017 in a smaller size, the new larger QR11-FB L-Bracket is designed to allow photographers to quickly switch from landscape to portrait format and retain the sensor position for better continuity and streamlined workflow.
3 Legged Thing’s QR11-FB Universal L-Bracket consists of a quick release plate with a 110mm working base, which is compatible with standard Arca Swiss style clamps and heads.
The QR11-FB Universal L-Bracket has a 126mm vertical aspect, along with an additional 1/4″-20 threaded hole which allows you to mount other accessories such as monitors and microphones.
The vertical aspect also has an opening that can allow access to the cable or battery doors, depending on your camera’s body design.
Other features include dual strap connectors and triangular pads that are designed to tessellate and provide as much surface contact as possible on the baseplate, offering more grip and a more secure connection.
The QR11-FB will be available in two colour options; Copper and Metallic Slate Grey, similar to the existing standard-sized QR11-L.
