Insta360 has launched the Luna Pro, and it lands directly opposite DJI’s Osmo Pocket 4P with a specification that matches it almost point for point — plus one thing DJI cannot offer: a Leica Summicron lens. Details are on Insta360’s site. The headline specification Luna Pro pairs a Leica Summicron lens with a 1-inch 8K sensor, driven by a Dual AI Chip design combining a dedicated imaging chip with a 4nm flagship processor. Video runs to 8K30fps in Dolby Vision, with 4K120fps and 1080p240fps for slow motion. Crucially for anyone producing social content, it captures native 4K30fps vertical video with 6K oversampling — twist the rotatable touchscreen and you are shooting vertically at full resolution rather than cropping a horizontal frame and losing detail. There is 2x lossless zoom, 4K Clarity Zoom and up to 4x HighRes Zoom with AI enhancement, plus a classic 80mm portrait focal length and 4K60fps...
