Although it didn’t get serious about stills cameras until 2001, electronics giant Panasonic was the first company to introduce a mirrorless system camera. The debut model, the Panasonic Lumix G1 was unveiled at the Photokina trade show in September 2008 and was the first Micro Four Thirds camera.
