Panasonic News & Reviews
Although it didn’t get serious about stills cameras until 2001, electronics giant Panasonic was the first company to introduce a mirrorless system camera. The debut model, the Panasonic Lumix G1 was unveiled at the Photokina trade show in September 2008 and was the first Micro Four Thirds camera.
Since then Panasonic has created a range of interchangeable lens Micro Four Thirds cameras with models to suit beginners and enthusiast photographers. The company's Lumix G series is popular with travel and street photographers, in particular.
Panasonic's GH series has also proved very popular with videographers, with the GH5 delivering features that have previously only been available in high-end movie cameras.
