Zoom has announced the H6 All Black, price tag $349, a new six-input, six-track portable audio recorder with a single mic capsule.
The Zoom H6 All Black features a single X/Y mic capsule and is designed for podcasters or filmmakers recording bands and other performers.
What’s more, the H6 supports interchangeable mic capsules, meaning you can easily swap it out for a stereo shotgun mic capsule, mono capsule or whatever you require.
The Zoom H6 mounts to a mic stand or tripod and boasts a rubberised body.
It can supply phantom or plug-in power for condenser mics, as well as accept direct connections from things such as keyboards or +4 dB line-level mixers.
Other features include selectable auto-recording and pre-recording, a 2-inch colour LCD and a dedicated gain control knob for each input.
