Zeiss has announced a new range of fixed focal length lenses for cinematographers, unveiling the Supreme Prime Radiance range of optics.
The new Supreme Radiance Prime range comprises seven lenses: 21mm, 25mm, 29mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and 100mm, all with a T1.5 aperture.
The new Zeiss lenses offer a compact design and use a new T* blue coating that helps to produce flare effects while retaining contrast.
The Zeiss Supreme Radiance Primes are otherwise just like the older Supreme Prime lenses.
Zeiss says the window for ordering the new Supreme Radiance Primes runs from now until 31 March 2020, with a release date set for April 2020.
The price tag for the full set of seven Supreme Radiance Prims hasn’t yet been announced.
