Zeiss has launched another lens in its Milvus range of full-frame, manual focus optics, introducing the Milvus 25mm f/1.4.
The Zeiss Milvus 25mm f/1.4 becomes the 11th lens in the Milvus range, which spans focal lengths from 15mm up to 135mm.
Like other Milvus lenses, the Zeiss 25mm f/1.4 is designed for Canon and Nikon DSLRs and is aimed at landscape and architectural photography.
Its optical design uses 15 elements in 13 groups, which Zeiss says helps it deliver smooth bokeh with limited fringing.
The Milvus 25mm f/1.4 is also weather-sealed against dust and splashes.
The Zeiss Milvus 25mm f/1.4 price tag will be $2,400 / €2,400 with a release date of 2 November.
