Battery life has always been the Achilles Heel of drones, but a new wireless charging pad, the WiBotic PowerPad, aims to change that.

The WiBotic PowerPad charging pad for drones measures 3ft x 3ft square and is big enough for most drones to land on and re-charge wirelessly.

It’s also weather resistant and can be used for both personal and industrial drone applications. What’s more, its makers say you can use the WiBotic PowerPad as a wayward point for long-distance drone flights.
