Vitec Imaging, the company that owns the Manfrotto, Lowepro, Gitzo, Joby and other photographic brands, has announced more than 50 new products at Photokina 2018.

Vitec will be showcasing the new products from Manfrotto, Gitzo, Lowepro and Joby in an immersive booth called Looking 4ward at Photokina 2018.

Other Vitec brands Lastolite by Manfrotto, Colorama, Avenger and Manfrotto lighting range will also display new products.

According to Vitec’s press statement, its brands will show off the following new photo accessories:

Manfrotto, will launch a massive extension of its travel segment under its Befree flagship collection with three new travel tripods: the hybrid Befree 2N1, Befree Nerissimo signature editions and the Befree Live with video head and new leg locking system. As for bags, Manfrotto will further expand its Urban and Studio line up with the very first complete collection of professional photographic Pro Light Reloader roller bags, consisting of six light, secure and durable carry-on solutions.

For the first time together with its full GorillaPod range, JOBY will showcase the entire TelePod family, a range of advanced selfie sticks and compact tripods designed for vloggers; the new HandyPod, a compact table tripod solution for both smartphones, ILC and sound recording devices and the GorillaPod Video Pro, the well-known GorillaPod legs paired with a brand new fluid video head that allow for smooth, lightweight movements while filming amazing adventures on the go.

Gitzo will launch the most compact and lightweight professional carbon fibre tripod ever crafted: the Mini Traveler which you can always carry on wildlife assignment and the new edition of the Two-Way Fluid Head, with improved fluidity and unmistakeable Gitzo design for birdwatching & digiscoping.

Lowepro will introduce four main collections, including two featuring a completely new design. FreeLine, versatile premium outdoor daypack dedicated to content creators looking for an easily adaptable modular solution, from urban commute to on the go assignment. Powder, a solution that combines the features of ski and snowboard packs with the extreme performance and durability of Lowepro photo backpacks for the wildest photographic adventures on the most remote mountain terrains. Lowepro’s outdoor and adventure focus also includes the new edition of its two bestsellers Whistler and ProTactic ranges, with upgraded design, more interior space and more adaptive divider systems.

What’s more, Vitec has announced a strategic partnership between Manfrotto, Gitzo and Sony to design accessories for Sony A-series cameras.

Manfrotto is launching the Befree GT α, a high-end travel tripod for use with Sony Alpha cameras, while Gitzo is unveiling the Gitzo Traveler α.
