Venus Optics has announced the Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL Zero-D lens, price tag from $549, which is available for use with a range of full-frame mirrorless cameras.

Available for Nikon Z, Sony E, Canon RF and Leica L and M mounts, the Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL Zero-D lens is a small, lightweight ultra-wideangle lens that offers a 114-degree angle of view.

The Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL Zero-D lens comprises 13 elements in nine groups, with two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements.

Aimed at landscape and architectural photographers, the Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL Zero-D lens weighs just 228g and measure 58 x 59mm.

Other features include a 52mm filter thread and a five-blade aperture.

The Leica M mount version is equipped with rangefinder coupling for more accurate and easy focus. On other mounts there is a focus tab to improve the stability and speed when focusing.

The new Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL price tag is $549 for the Nikon Z, Canon RF, Sony E and Leica L mount version. The Leica M mount model is priced at $649.

Shpping starts in late September for all but the Canon RF mount and Leica M mount silver versions, which will be released in late October.
