Velbon has announced the UT-3AR travel tripod, price tag £79.99, which comes with a ball and socket head.
The Velbon UT-3AR can support a payload of up to 3kg and weighs just 787g. Designed for travel photographers, it can extend to 135.5cm in height with the centre column extended, yet folds down to just 29.5cm.
The Velbon UT-3AR also features five-section legs with a twist-lock system. The tripod’s main collar also allows the legs to pivot 180 degrees to rest flush against the centre column.
The new Velbon tripod also comes with a QB-3AS Arca Swiss type quick release plate, as well as a carry case and carabiner clip.
