Vegas Creative Software has announced the release of Vegas Pro 16 video editing software, which promises to be the fastest video editor on the market.

New to Vegas Pro 16 is a Video Stabilization tool that promises to salvage ‘even the shakiest of camera footage’.

A new Motion Tracking tool allows users to track any object on screen and edit it via a range of tools, filters and effects, such as colour grading, blurring and pixelisation.

A new Multiple Storyboards tool allows users to experiment with different video cuts, allowing them to quickly switch between alternate project edits to compare and create.

VEGAS Pro 16 also now offers an end-to-end workflow for High Dynamic Range colour so it is compatible with professional HDR-capable cameras, monitors, and other hardware.

Vegas Creative has also introduced support for 360° video, and Vegas Pro 16 now backs up your project automatically after every edit.

The basic Vegas Pro 16 Edit version of the software is priced £299. You can buy other options with various plug-in packages for £499 and £649. There’s also a subscription version that gets you all future updates, priced at £12.42 per month.
