On 1st July this year, the UK was supposed to be adopting new European regulations governing drone flight. However, as a result of the current Covid-19 crisis, the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) has announced that the implementation will be put back to at least 1st November 2020.
Many drone pilots and PfCO holders are already confused about what the change in legislation means for them, so I got in touch with Matt Williams (AKA Mr MPW) of UVAHUB, the world’s largest commercial drone training school to get some clarification. Naturally, we couldn’t resist also chatting about DJI’s latest drone the Mavic Air 2.
