Two new innovative photo backpacks from Mindshift

Photo bags innovators Mindshift have just announced two new photo backpacks, the SidePath and TrailScape.

Lightweight photo daypack

Designed as a lightweight backpack, weighing in at just 1.6 lbs with a total capacity of 14L, the SidePath is the perfect all-round go to photo bag. Ideally suited for travel and day trips the bags is divided into two sections. The base features the padded camera section whilst the tops is dedicated to any supplies you want to carry for the day.

The base camera section features enough room to comfortably hold a pro level CSC such as the Fuji X-T2 along with three fixed focal length lenses. Actual dimension are 24 x 15 x 14 cm. Access is gained through the rear of the bag, this not only ensures that your kit is kept safe and secure against your back, but also this design helps to keep shoulder straps clean when the bag on the ground in order to remove your kit.

The top section is secured by zip and as well as your supplies there’s an addition compartment to fit a 10″ tablet. If you need more room then the an interior trap door enables the interior to be opened up to make a full day pack.

Slim profile photo backpack

An ideal option for wildlife and sports photographers. The slim compact profile of the latest TrailScape 18L photo backpack offers plenty of space for all your kit and a little bit more.

The spacious inside measures 24 × 44 × 12cm, it has more than enough room for a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV along with 100-400mm, 24-70mm and 100mm macro, giving you plenty of kit options when out on a days wildlife shoot.

On the exterior and interior theres plenty of options for attachment and storage with straps and pockets for tripods, monopods and other accessories. In the front zipped section there’s a slot for your Laptop or tablet.

Obviously as the bag gains weight you need a support structure that makes your kit laden bag as comfortable as possible. Sure enough the shoulder straps are well padded to provide optimum comfort.
