TriLens relaunches on Kickstarter to expand product to US
News

TriLens, the innovative three lens holder that clips to your belt, has launched a second crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to bring the product to the United States.

TriLens’s founder, Jonas Lundin, got in touch with us here at Camera Jabber to say that his company, Frii Designs, is relaunching the TriLens and reserving 200 new early bird options exclusively for American backers since they were excluded from the original campaign.

The TriLens launched on Kickstarter back in April of this year and blew past its funding goal by 261% within the first 24 hours. However, Lundin explains that his company had some legal complications in shipping the TriLens to America, which limited him to giving early bird rewards only to non-US citizens.

Frii Designs has since resolved these issues and is launching the TriLens again on Kickstarter as of today to give US citizens an equal opportunity to support the product and get the same rewards.

“During our last campaign, we were overwhelmed with emails from disappointed Americans who wanted to pre-order the TriLens,” Lundin says.

“Our supporters have been really understanding of the situation and we want to give back to the community by giving everyone the same chance of getting the TriLens for the Kickstarter deals.”

The TriLens sold out of its first 200 early bird deals within just five minutes during its last campaign. Pre-ordering on Kickstarter saves up to 42% off the regular retail price.

The new campaign goes live at 11am PDT today, 8 August.
