Hähnel Industries has announced that it will start distributing the Tokina Opera 50mm f/1.4 ff lens in the UK.
The lens is designed for use with full frame Canon and Nikon DSLRs.
Ensuring that the lens meets the high demands required by today’s cameras and photographers the lens features Tokina’s premium optics.
Natural Bokeh, suppressed chromatic aberration and superior edge-to-edge sharpness are just a few of the features attributed to this lens.
Internally the lens features three lens elements. These are made from SD (Super-low Dispersion) glass. There is also one aspherical glass element at the rear-focus lens group.
To create the soft Bokeh a 9-blade, round-shaped diaphragm
has been used.
Tokina also utilises an electric diaphragm. This is specific to the Nikon mount for more accurate and precise aperture control.
Advanced ELR coatings to reduce ghosting and flare
Tokina’s ELR (Extremely Low Reflection) coating is used on the optics and has been engineered to target visible light as it enters and passes through the lens.
This coating reduces the reflection ratio when compared to traditional
lens coatings. The results are dramatically reduced ghosting and flare when shooting in challenging lighting conditions.
