Tokina has officially announced the ATX-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF lens, price tag $449, which is compatible with Nikon F and Canon EF-mount cameras.
The new Tokina lens offers a 35mm equivalent focal length of 17.6-25.6mm. The new ultra-wide zoom is aimed at landscape photographers, as well as architecture and interior shooting.
The Tokina ATX-i 11-16mm f/2.8 is designed for DX-format Nikon F-mount and APSC-format Canon EF-mount cameras and provides a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture throughout its focal range.
Inside, two SD low-dispersion elements help reduce fringing and chromatic aberrations, while multi-coated elements help keep flare and ghosting at bay.
Its construction also consists of two aspherical elements and a nine-bladed diaphragm.
Other features include a one-touch focus clutch mechanism for quickly switching between AF and MF.
