Camera accessory manufacturers Think Tank Photo and MindShift Gear have announced a merger that sees the two companies become a single entity under the Think Tank brand.
Though MindShift will move under the Think Tank brand, it will still exist as its own product line.
Both companies will now operate out of Santa Rosa, California, with Think Tank’s founder Doug Murdoch serving as president of the new company.
‘We celebrate a milestone today as we formally join two of the top brands in camera bags and photo accessories, Think Tank and MindShift,” Murdoch said in a statement to the press.
‘Combined under the Think Tank umbrella, and with MindShift’s powerful position in the outdoor photography market, we will draw on our decades of experience to push the boundaries of carrying solutions and enhance our reputation as the choice of working professionals.’
