Tamron has announced the 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD, price tag $1,199, a new fast telephoto zoom for Sony E-mount cameras.
The Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD offers an aperture range of f/2.8 down to f/22, and it contains three aspherical elements in its construction.
What’s more, Tamron has used floating elements in its construction to help provide consistent image quality throughout the focusing range.
The new Tamron lens also features a BBAR-G2 (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) coating to help reduce flare and ghosting for more accurate colours.
Dual VXD linear motor units power the Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD lens’ AF performance, promising faster, quieter operation.
The Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD is also moisture-resistant, while a fluorine-coated front element helps prevent smudging.
You can buy the Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD at retailers such as B&H Photo Video.
