Today Tamrac has announced two new slimline backpacks designed for today’s travel photographers.

In the past, one of the most significant issues with travel backpacks was their size, which can often make this style of bag bulky and cumbersome.

The new Nagano backpacks have been designed slim, so if you’re jumping on to a crowded bus off the beaten track in India, traipsing through the jungle surrounding the Nile or sightseeing in New York, you’ll be thankful of not nocking over the locals with the slim profile.

Being slim doesn’t mean that space has been compromised. There are two versions of the Nagano offering either a 16l or 12l capacity.

Both backpacks have been designed with rear access to the kit and will house DSLR, Mirrorless, accessories, action cameras and a good assortment of equipment.

Although both bags are from the same range, the look and style of each are quite different. The larger 16l features a panelled front while the smaller 12l is a single piece smooth and very stylish.

The 16l has also been designed to hold a 15-inch laptop while the 12l will hold a 13-inch.

As these backpacks have been designed for travel, they both feature a weather-resistant fabric exterior and expandable pockets.

The Tamrac NAGANO 16L and 12L backpacks are available now
with suggested retail prices of £125 and £145 respectively.
