Datacolor, has launched its latest updates to the Spyder line of colour calibrators: the Spyder and SpyderPro. These new calibration tools have been designed to help you accurately calibrate your monitors and enhance the supported technologies such as OLED, mini-LED, and Apple Liquid Retina XDR. The latest display technologies are again boosting the resolution and quality of our displays and with this new line of calibrators, Datacolor is ensuring that the hardware and software technology you use optimises the full potential of these new devices. This expansion will help to ensure that your monitor will display precise colour on these advanced screens, optimizing their vibrant colour displays and ensuring accuracy in shadows and highlights.

Heath Barber, Director of Product Management, Consumer at Datacolor, explained, “Both the Spyder and SpyderPro are designed to calibrate a variety of displays, now including the latest technologies such as OLED, mini-LED, and Apple Liquid Retina XDR displays. Calibration helps optimise the advantageous features these displays offer, such as colour richness, and finely detailed shadows and highlights.”

Additionally, both calibrators include the exclusive Device Preview™ Beta feature, which allows users to simulate how their images would appear on the latest phones and tablets. This feature helps photographers and content creators preview their work across different devices without needing access to the actual hardware.

Designed for a wide range of creatives—photographers, videographers, and hybrid shooters—these calibrators streamline the calibration process. The intuitive interface makes it easy for both beginners and professionals to ensure colour accuracy across their workflow.

The SpyderPro goes a step further with enhanced capabilities, including unlimited calibration settings for customizable workflows, support for high-brightness monitors, video/cinema targets, and the ability to maintain colour continuity across multiple displays.

Available now, the Spyder retails at €179 (£154/$190), while the SpyderPro is priced at €279 (£240/$300). Both are sold on the Datacolor website, Amazon, and through authorised retailers.
