A Sony A9 II has been spotted in an Asian telecommunication registry, as first images of what appear to be the new Sony camera have appeared online.
Nokoshita, the Japanese blog that has a penchant for spotting new camera models, reports a Sony ‘ILCE-9M2’ model registered in Asia.
Meanwhile, Sony Alpha Rumors has published images of what appear to be the Sony A9 II being tested.
Key specs for the A9 II are rumoured to be a new generation Sony sensor offering 36-million-pixel resolution and a revamped AF system.
It’s thought that the Sony A9 II could be announced near the end of October around the time of the PhotoPlus show in New York.
