Retailers are now shipping the Sony A7 III, but the HVL-F60RM flashgun release date will be delayed until May 25, according to Sony.

The Sony A7 III has begun shipping today in the UK, and other retailers around the world have said stock is arriving soon. Amazon UK lists the new full-frame mirrorless camera as shipping today, April 11.

Adorama in the United States says it is receiving stock within the next few days.

Meanwhile, Sony Japan has posted a statement on its website announcing that the originally scheduled April 13 release date for the HVL-F60RM flashgun announced in February, will now be pushed back to May 25.

The FA-EBA 1 external battery adapter and FA-RG 1 rain guard will also be delayed until the same date. The statement reads (via translation):
