SmallRig’s DreamRig Co-Design Program is setting new standards in content creation by empowering photographers and videographers to take an active role in designing their gear. Launched in 2017, this innovative platform invites creators from around the globe to collaborate directly with SmallRig, ensuring that the final products are perfectly tailored to their practical needs and creative visions.

In an era where content creation demands are continuously evolving, the DreamRig program has quickly become a cornerstone for creators seeking high-quality, customized equipment. Over the past seven years, the program has partnered with more than 1,400 photographers and videographers worldwide, leading to the development of over 2,900 bespoke products. These collaborations have not only met the unique needs of individual creators but have also driven many of these custom designs into mass production, earning prestigious international design awards in the process.

Recently, the DreamRig program has gained widespread attention due to a surge in requests for personalized camera cages in unique colours. Responding to this trend, SmallRig is hosting a limited-time Color Cage Customization Event, offering content creators the opportunity to design and order custom-coloured rabbit cages. This event highlights the program’s commitment to personalization and user-driven design, allowing creators to not only functionally enhance their gear but also to express their style.

The Color Cage Customization Event kicks off on August 15th at 0:00 (GMT-7) and is available exclusively through the SmallRig website. Participants can select their preferred colour for a rabbit cage, with only 100 slots available on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is a unique opportunity for creators to secure a one-of-a-kind accessory that aligns with their personal aesthetic and practical requirements.

The DreamRig program’s success lies in its ability to bridge the gap between creators and product developers, fostering a community-driven approach to gear design. By involving end-users in the creation process, SmallRig ensures that the products they bring to market are not only functional and reliable but also reflect the diverse needs and preferences of today’s content creators.
