Sirui has launched a new compact travel tripod featuring an integrated monopod, introducing the Sirui NT-1005X, priced £179.99.
As well as an extendable centre column that doubles as a monopod, the Sirui NT-1005X includes a Sirui’s E-10 ball-head, which offers a load capacity of 8kg.
At its collapsed length the Sirui NT-1005X measures 36cm and extends to a height of 148.3cm – and when the integrated monopod is removed from the main tripod it can reach a height of 154cm.
The Sirui NT-1005X weighs 1.44kg (including the ball head).
The Sirui NT-1005X’s centre column features an anti-twist straight edge and has two extendable sections which enable the tripod to reach its maximum working height of 148.3cm.
The centre column is also reversible and can be removed and re-attached upside down to facilitate ultra-low level shooting.
Other features include a spirit level, 360º panning and a safety lock mechanism.
The Sirui NT-1005X tripod also boasts non-slip twist locks, that open the leg sections with just half a turn, non-slip foam rubber leg-grips, a reversible mounting screw and a stabilising load hook.
