Sigma has announced a new range of I series lenses within its Contemporary range, priced from £479 / $549, which are designed for Sony E-mount and L-mount cameras.
New to the range are the Sigma I series 24mm F3.5 DG DN, 35mm F2 DG DN and 65mm F2 DG DN | Contemporary prime lenses.
The Sigma I series 24mm F3.5 DG DN price tag is £479.99 and is comprised of 10 elements in eight groups, of which there is one SLD element and three aspherical elements.
The compact prime ways just 225g and offers a 7-bladed aperture, stepping motor, aperture ring and a dust- and splash-proof design.
The Sigma I series 35mm F2 price tag is £549.9 and is comprised of 10 elements in nine groups, of which there is one SLD element and three aspherical elements. The lens also features a 9-blade aperture.
The Sigma I series 65mm F2 price tag is £649.99 and is comprised of 12 elements in nine groups and boasts a 9-blade aperture.
All three lenses boast an aperture ring and stepping motor, along with a magnetic lens cap, focus mode switch and are compatible with the Sigma USB Dock UD-11 (though only for L-mount cameras).
