How to set up a MeFOTO Air tripod

MeFoto RoadTrip Air
Review

There’s no single tool more effective at improving composition and camera support than a tripod, but anyone who has worked with a tripod will know they can be quite cumbersome to carry on adventures off the beaten path.

The new line of MeFOTO Air tripods aims to be smaller and lighter than traditional tripods while offering photographers more customisation options.

In this video, professional photographer David Flores demonstrates how to set up a MeFOTO Air tripod using its twist-to-unlock functionality. He then shows how to customise the legs’ angles.

The MeFOTO Air tripods come in three sizes: the Backpacker Air, which folds down to less than 14.4 inches and weighs less than 2 pounds; the Road Trip Air, which folds down to less than 15 inches and weighs less than 2.5 pounds; and the Globetrotter Air, which folds down to 16.7 inches and weighs 3.2 pounds.

Furthermore, the MeFOTO Air’s centre column turns into a selfie stick, and the tripod offers a Bluetooth remote and smartphone adaptor.
