Samyang has announced its first lenses for the Canon EOS R and RP, introducing the MF 14mm f/2.8 RF and MF 85mm f/1.4 RF, with price information to follow at a later date.
Samyang’s new RF-mount lenses are the first optics for the EOS R and EOS RP from any brand beyond Canon itself.
The Samyang MF 14mm f/2.8 RF offers a 115.7-degree angle of view and is aimed at architectural and landscape photographers. The MF 85mm f/1.4 RF meanwhile is aimed at portrait photographers.
Both new Samyang RF lenses are weather sealed and also feature an Ultra Multi Coating to minimise aberrations.
Samyang will show off its new Canon RF-mount lenses at the CP+ Show beginning today in Tokyo.
The Samyang RF lenses will be released during March, with price information to follow.
