Samsung has announced the Galaxy A9, which introduces the world’s first rear four-camera design in a smartphone.

Among the Samsung Galaxy A9’s four rear cameras are a 24-megapixel Main Lens, a 5-megapixel Depth Lens, an 8-megapixel Ultra Wide Lens (120°) and a 10-megapixel 2x Optical Zoom lens.

Also inside the Galaxy A9 is Samsung’s Scene Optimiser, which uses AI to identify your subjects and adjust the settings accordingly.

Storage-wise, the Samsung Galaxy A9 offers 128GB of internal storage, as well as up to 512GB of expandable memory. And a new 3,800mAH battery promises longer performance.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 price tag will be £549, with a release date set for November.

The A9 will be available in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink.
