Rotolight, the pioneering British lighting company, has announced a new high-power LED that’s designed for use in the studio or on location.
Using the same technology as the Titan X2, the Titan X1 is a square (1×1) light with Rotolight’s SmartSoft electronic diffusion that enables the diffusion, focus and spread of the light to be controlled electronically and without gels.
It’s also possible to shoot at any colour temperature across the CCT spectrum (3000-10,000 Kelvin) without using gels.
For photographers, the Titan X1 is also the world’s first high-speed sync (HSS) RGB flash (up to 1/8000sec) with a powerful output and zero recycle time. Combining the Titan X1’s flash capability with any of its 16.7 million RGB colours or 1400 industry-standard filters gives a huge amount of creative options for lighting.
On the back of the Rotolight X1 there’s a full-colour touchscreen that’s designed to make setting adjustments quick and easy.
Thanks to Rotolight’s RGBWW Pentachromic Colour Engine, the Titan X1 is said to deliver beautiful, precise skin tones and vivid colour saturation. Rotolight also claims that it excelling in CRI and TLCI performance across the entire CCT spectrum, saving time in post-production.
Rotolight’s award-winning collection of user customisable CineSFX™ (Fire, Lightning, TV, Gunshot, Paparazzi, Chase and more), are also on hand for creative video effects.
