More images of the upcoming Ricoh Theta V have leaked online which provide some more detail of the 360 camera’s ports and body design.

The Japanese website Nokoshita uncovered the images and posted them, which reveal the 2001 monolith-style shape we’ve all become accustomed to in the Theta line, as well as some close-up views of underneath the camera.

What’s more, new images of the Ricoh Theta TA-1 mic/audio module have emerged, which appears to plug into the base of the Theta V.

We also get a first look at what is being called the Ricoh Theta TW1 underwater housing. It isn’t clear yet whether this is designed specifically for the Theta V or whether it can be used with other Theta cameras as well.

The Ricoh Theta V isn’t much of a surprise, only it’s name. Earlier this year the company announced the development of a 4K version of its Theta 360 camera that would replace its current flagship, the Ricoh Theta S.

It is widely expected that Ricoh will officially launch the Theta V at IFA in Berlin later this week.
