Ricoh has announced the development of the HD PENTAX-D FA★85mm F1.4 SDM AW lens, which is set for a release date in late 2020.
The new high-performance Star-series lens boasts a fast f/1.4 aperture and Pentax’s popular all-weather build quality.
The HD PENTAX-D FA★85mm F1.4 SDM AW lens uses three Super ED glass elements to reduce aberrations, as well as one aspherical lens. Inside there is also a 9-blade diaphragm.
The new Pentax lens offers a 19-degree angle of view and a minimum focusing distance of 0.85m.
Other features Ricoh has revealed are a 0.12x maximum magnification and an 82mm filter thread.
