Profoto has launched the AirTTL Flash which mounts to your Sony camera to wirelessly integrate your AirTTL Flash with your camera.

Announcing the new unit at Photokina 2016, the AirTTL Flash boasts an operating range of up to 300m (1,000ft).

When pointing and shooting in TTL Mode, the Air Remote TTL-S will communicate with the flash to automatically give you an ideal exposure, the company says.

For more precise control, you can switch the unit to its Hybrid Mode. This allows you to first shoot with TTL to get a technically perfect exposure, and then switch to Manual Mode with the same readings and settings and make any creative adjustments.

Compatible with the series of A7 Sony cameras, the AirTTL Flash to your camera’s hot shoe and can also be used for syncing and manually controlling any Profoto unit that is compatible with Air.
It also offers a USB port for firmware upgrades. The Profoto Air Remote TTL-S weighs 96g and measures 80 × 60 × 41 mm.
