Best known for its instant cameras, Polaroid has just announced the latest, the Polaroid Snap Touch.

At first look it might not look like there’s a great deal of change since the release of the Polaroid Snap, but the new model adds far more than just the big new feature – the 3.5-inch touch-screen.

Starting with the touch-screen this is a large 3.5-inch LCD which promises a bright clear preview for composing your shots as well as changing settings and previewing images.

Polaroid’s Instant prints

Of course as this is a modern Polaroid, the ability to preview images at high quality on the camera is essential as, keeping with the Polaroid tradition, this camera is able to print directly.

The new touch-screen makes reviewing your images quick and easy and once you’ve located the images you want, you can then print them directly using the ZINK (Zero Ink) Printing Technology which produces a full colour 2 x 3 inch print.

Print images from your phone’s photo library

The Snap Touch doesn’t just isolate its inbuilt printing ability to images that it’s shot. The built-in BlueTooth connectivity enables you to connect to your mobile device and then using the mobile app you can quickly print images from your phone’s photo library.

The camera has three built in modes that enable you to shoot full colour, black and white and sepia. There’s also a self-timer and an all important Selfie mode.

All images are captured using the new improved 13 million pixel CMOS sensor and are stored in a microSD card with a capacity of up to 128mb. It can even shoot 1080p full HD video.

The Polaroid Snap Touch instant digital camera can be ordered from www.polaroidsnapcamera.com for £169.99.
