Arts Council England has revealed a new organisation will launch later in 2016 to provide support for photographic collections and archives around the country.
The Photographic Collections Network will be comprised of Redeye, the Photography Network, the Victoria and Albert Museum, The Royal Photographic Society and the National Media Museum, as well as a number of independent specialists from around the country.
The group will support archives by offering research, knowledge exchange and advocacy, as well as hosting events.
