How to photograph Iceland, and where to go

If you’ve ever dreamed of taking a photo holiday in Iceland but were unsure what to expect, this series of brilliant videos takes you on a tour through some of the most iconic locations for landscape photographers.

Photographer Mads Peter Iversen, who organises Icelandic photo trips through his business WPN Tours, posted this series of five videos showing some of the more iconic locations like Kirkjufell and the enormous waterfall at Seljalandsfoss, as well as more hidden gems like the Reykjanesta peninsula.

In this first video in his series, Mads explains how and what to photograph when you visit Iceland and takes the viewer on a stunning drone flight through Reykjanesta on the south-western tip of the Reykjaness peninsula, with its stunning blue lagoons.

The series then moves on to Seljalandsfoss, Kirkjufell and Grundarfjordur, Reynisdrangar and Skogafoss.
