Panasonic has announced a duo of new lenses, introducing the LEICA DG 25mm f/1.4 II Asph and Lumix S Pro 24-70mm f/2.8.

An update to its existing fixed-focal length lens, the LEICA DG 25mm f/1.4 boasts a new splash and dust-resistant construction. It’s also compatible with a maximum 240fps sensor drive for high-speed auto focusing.

Designed for Micro Four Thirds mount cameras, the new LEICA DG SUMMILUX 25mm / F1.4 II ASPH. (H-XA025) offers the same angle of view as a 50mm lens for full frame systems.

The Panasonic LEICA DG 25mm lens price tag will be £579.99 / €649.99, with a release date set for 24 October. You can buy the new Panasonic 25mm lens from Adorama or Wex Photo Video.

Also announced today was the LUMIX S PRO 24-70mm F2.8 (S-E2470), based on the L-Mount system for the LUMIX S Series full-frame mirrorless cameras.

Aimed at professional users, the LUMIX S PRO 24-70mm lens will be priced at £2,249.99 / €2499.99 with a release date set for 26 September.
