Chinese manufacturer Oppo has launched the Find X, a new Android smartphone that features a pop-up camera tray with a dual-camera setup, as well as a 6.4-inch full-screen display.

Swiping up on the Oppo Find X’s lock screen triggers the pop-up camera to extend, at which point the 25-megapixel front camera will employ its Stealth 3D, a face-scanning technology, to identify the user. The front-facing camera also uses Stealth 3D to take selfies.

The dual rear cameras are 16-megapixels and 20-megapixels, respectively, and offer image stabilisation and an AI Scene Recognition technology.

The Oppo Find X boasts a staggering 93.8% screen-to-body ratio, as well as 256GB of internal storage.

The Oppo Find X will be priced £879 / $1,159 / €999 from its release date in August.

Oppo is also launching a carbon fibre ‘Lamborghini’ edition of the Find X that will be priced £1,499 / $1,969 / €1,699. This version also gives you 512GB of storage and promises to charge to 100% in just 35 minutes.
