OnePlus has announced its new flagship smartphone, introducing the OnePlus 6, which brings a dual camera set up with Optical Image Stabilisation, priced from £469.

The new OnePlus 6’s dual camera system features a 16-megapixel main camera and a 20-megapixel secondary camera. The sensor on the main camera is 19% larger than the OnePlus 5T, as well as new OIS. It also boasts an f/1.7 aperture.

OnePlus says that Portrait Mode will also be available on both the front and rear cameras. The OnePlus 6 uses AI in the front camera to apply a depth of field effect to your selfies, as well as add a range of different bokeh effects.

Other shooting modes include Advanced HDR and a new Slow Motion mode that records movies in 720p at 480fps.

Inside the OnePlus 6 is the Snapdragon 854 chip, which OnePlus says makes the phone 30% faster than its predecessor.

OnePlus is also promising the fastest charge of any smartphone, claiming a half-hour charge gives the phone enough power for one day.

The OnePlus 6 has no expansion port for microSD cards, but is available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB internal storage options.
