Olympus and Manfrotto team up

Olympus Explorer Bag
News

In the latest camera world team-up, we see Olympus and Manfrotto come together to design the Explorer Bag.

Ok, it might not be a big leap forward in imaging or stabilisation technology, but the result certainly looks good.

Olympus is one of the few manufacturers who actively source decent bags for their product ranges. In the past, I’ve been impressed with their CBG-12 backpack and the Explorer looks to follow that same quality.

The new Olympus Explorer messenger has been designed by Manfrotto for the OMD CSC range.

As a day bag, there’s plenty of room for a camera along with three other Olympus lenses.

At the top of the bag is a protective and detachable camera/lens pouch along with configurable dividers which mean that you can fine-tune the bag too suit your needs.

At the back of the bag is a large slot pocket which is ideal for stashing and keeping safe a 14-inch laptop or pro tablet.

Even with the bag fully packed with kit and computer, there should still be enough room for a few additions for the day. We’ll let you know how much kit and other items will fit once we get a review sample.

Although designed as a messenger bag the Explorer has some handy additional features including a tripod strap under the bag.

If you own an Olympus OMD camera then this messenger bag could be the perfect partner. The Explorer bag is available now priced at RRP £139.99.
