Let’s face it, photographers love autumn. And with the leaves starting to turn across the UK, it would be cruel to make the October theme of our monthly photography competition anything other than Autumn Colour. Luckily, we’re nice.
How to enter
You can enter our monthly competition via Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. You just need to tag us @camerajabber and include this month’s #tag, #autumncolourjabber.
Our competition runs until the end of the year with each month having a different theme. The autumn colour theme will run until November when we’ll pick a winner from the October entries and award the prize of a Samsung 256GB EVO Plus microSD memory card with SD adaptor worth £74.99.
At the end of the year, we’ll also select an overall winner who will receive a fantastic 500GB Samsung SSD T5 portable storage unit worth £121.
About the prizes
The Samsung 256GB EVO Plus microSD card with SD adaptor is a UHS-I U3 Class 10 memory card, that is 4K compatible and can be used in cameras and other devices that accept either a microSD or an SD card. Backed by Samsung’s 4-proof protection these cards are ultra-reliable and are water, temperature, X-ray and magnetic proof making them the perfect partner for an action cam like a GoPro Hero7 Black, a mirrorless camera like the Fujifilm X-E3 or a DSLR like the Nikon D3500 – and a host of others.
Measuring just 74 x 57.3 x 10.5 mm (3.0 x 2.3 x 0.4 in), the 500GB Portable Samsung T5 is an excellent storage device for photographers on the move. And thanks to V-NAND technology and a USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface it has fast transfer times so you don’t have to wait long for your images to copy across.
Samsung supplies the T5 with a USB Type-C to USB-C cable and a USB Type-C to USB-A cable so it can be used with a wide range of devices. It’s also compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Android*, so you can use it to back-up your data and photos from your PC, phone or laptop.

* Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), Android 4.4 (KitKat), or higher. Older versions of the Windows, Mac and Android operating systems may not be supported.
