Nokia has updated the software on its five-camera 9 PureView smartphone to add a new live bokeh mode and increase the speed of image processing.
The Nokia 9 PureView’s new live bokeh mode allows users to adjust the point of focus and strength of the background blur before capturing the final image. It also allows you to adjust these post-capture, as well.
The new firmware update also boosts image processing speeds, meaning users can capture more images in continuous shooting mode.
Outside of the Nokia 9’s camera tech, the software update boosts the speed of the fingerprint reader and streamlines the interface.
Nokia says the firmware update should roll out globally within the next few weeks.
