Nissin has extended its range of portable flashguns, unveiling the Nissin i60A, which it claims is the smallest and lightest high-power portable flash on the market.

Weighing just 300g and stretching only 4.5 inches high, the Nissin i60A boasts a guide number of 60 and will be available for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Four Thirds and Fujifilm mirror less and professional compact cameras.

The 2.4 GHz wireless Nissin flash is also compatible with the firm’s Nissin Air System and has a video light function with nine steps of output level adjustment and a usage time of up to 3.5 hours.

The zoom range can be adjusted automatically or manually from 24-200mm, and the Nissin i60A comes equipped with a built-in diffuser that gives 16mm lens coverage.

The new Nissin flash comes with a soft box specially designed for the flash head, and it also includes a bounce card.

The Nissin i60A operates on 4 AA batteries; however, it can also be connected to an external power source to reduce the flash recycle time during constant high power output.

The Nissin i60A price tag was not confirmed as of the time of writing, and is due to be released this summer.
