Nissin has released the i600, price tag £189.95, a new compact flashgun for mirrorless cameras with both TTL and HSS capabilities.
Available for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm and Micro Four Thirds cameras, the Nissin i600 weighs just 300g and measures 11.2cm.
The new Nissin flashgun offers a Guide Number of 60 and the beam angle can be adjusted manually or automatically from 24-200mm.
The Nissin i600’s built-in high speed sync supports shutter speeds of up to 1/8000s, while a built-in diffusor provides 16mm coverage.
The Nissin i600 head can also be rotated 180 degrees to the left and right, and 90 degrees upwards for bouncing the light.
Flash output can be corrected up to +/- 2EV in half step increments. Other features include a recycle time of between 0.1 and 5.5secs, and the i600 can last for 220-1500 flashes on four AA batteries.
Nissin has also released the LS-55C carbon fibre flash stand, which weighs 625g, offers a maximum height of 2m and supports a 1.5kg payload. The LS-55C is priced £139.98.
