NiSi has forged a solid name for itself as one of the best photography filter manufacturers out there. Now the company has released their latest 100mm filter system, the NiSi V7.
Building on the quality of the previous models, including the excellent NiSi V6 filter system, the enhanced design gives greater lens compatibility.
The NiSi V7 holder has been designed with up to three square filters and a circular polarising filter.
The company states that it has designed the filter holder to help eliminate any signs of vignette at 15mm on full-frame cameras. This means that it’s the ideal choice for those using the Canon EF 16-35mm f / 2.8L II USM, the Canon EF 16-35mm f / 4L IS USM, the Sony FE 16-35mm f / 2.8 GM, the Sony FE 16- 35mm f / 4 ZA OSS, the Nikon AF-S 16-35mm f / 4 G ED VR, the Nikon AF-S 17-35mm f / 2.8 D ED.
If you’re using an APS-C camera, that minimum focal length extends to 10-11mm.
As with the V6 holder, the construction of the V7 is from a single block of aeronautical aluminium that CNC machined and finished in a matte black.
New point to point alignment and lock has been added to the 82mm ring to help with the fitting and removal of the CPL.
The NiSi V7 will ship with:
