Nikon has announced it will close its ecommerce shop in Brazil, the Nikon Store, as another round in its global restructuring.
What’s more, because the Nikon Store is the exclusive seller in the country, no Nikon cameras, lenses or accessories will now be sold in Brazil – at least officially.
Nikon Brazil, however, says the company will still honour its warranties and provide technical assistance to Nikon users in the country.
The news comes just a week after Nikon announced it was closing a factory in China that makes compact cameras and lenses.
