Nikon has announced two new additions to its NIKKOR Z lens range, introducing the Z 20mm f/1.8 S and Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR, price tags £1,049 and £849, respectively.
The NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S is the latest optic in Nikon’s S-line of bright f/1.8 lenses. It features a 9-blade aperture and a minimum focus distance of 0.2m.
As well as ED glass, it also is coated with Nikon’s anti-reflective Nano Crystal Coat to prevent ghosting and flare.
The NIKKOR Z 24–200mm f/4–6.3 VR is designed for travel photographers who want to shoot both stills and video. The lens weighs just 570g and can be locked fully retracted for portability.
Its minimum focus distance is 0.5m at the wide-angle end of the range and 0.7m at 200mm.
The Nikon Z 24-200mm is also weather-sealed and features Nikon’s ARNEO coat to prevent ghosting and flare.
The new Nikon Z ultra-wide-angle and telephoto zoom lenses are weather-sealed to protect the optics from dust and moisture.
The Nikon Z 20mm f/1.8 S price tag is £1,049/€1,299, while the Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 is priced £849/€1,049.
