New Manfrotto XPRO Monopod+ offers 3D movement for video

Manfrotto has introduced the XPRO Monopod+ range, a new series of supports that features a fully fluid base offering 3D movement for videographers.

The Manfrotto XPRO Monopod+ incorporates what the company calls FLUIDTECH, which offers users 3D fluid movement on pan, tilt and swivel, which Manfrotto says enables smoother video footage.

The Full Fluid Base design features a simple spherical system that rotates with the photographer’s movements.

The new Manfrotto video monopod range also includes different camera connections, including a simple plate with 1/4in to 3/8in thread, a sliding plate system, 2-way fluid head and video head.

The Manfrotto XPRO’s legs also feature a new Quick Power Lock system, which the company says allows users to release the leg with a single hand movement.

The Manfrotto XPRO monopods are available in aluminium and carbon fibre, with a price tag starting at £59.95.
